GIVING NEW MEANING OF LIFE

Dr. Babu Rao Chaparala

He is native of Gudlavalleru, Krishna Dist. Schooling also from the same village, PUC from Machlipatnam.  Completed Medicine from Kakinada also worked as Government Health Services.

Always wanted to complete his psychology, for which he reached England 1973.  Babu Rao has settled in Birmingham.  His wife Bharati also completed her medicine in 1974.

Babu Rao Chaparala Presently working as consultant – psychiatrist.  There is much difference between psychiatrist in England and India.  the basic for people to approach psychiatrist is stress and depression.  This could be due to many reasons.  These days due to urbanization and industrialization, depression would come in between 20-30 years of age.  This is the second killing disease after heart ailments.

Presently doctors are reaching England with a specific goal.  They make money 30% - 40% more, when compared to Indian Doctors income.  But they should work very hard in order to get to field and survive initially. 

His main hobby is to play shuttle and tennis.  Enjoys listening music and reading books (which gives tremendous meaning to our life) He is also interested in traveling various new places of the world.

Also encourages his wife Bharati to finish her studies and take up House surgeon. She is in to this field for the last twenty years.  Though she is Gynecologist she worked as General Practitioner.  they officer free medical Service for poor people in England. 

Being staying in England, has love for mother land and Telugu customs and culture.  He is fond of Telugu Literature and read many books written by Sri Krishna Shastry, Sri Buchi Babu and Sri Tripuraneni Gopi Chand.

Babu Rao Chaparala established European Telugu Association, it's his dream.  In 1992 he called various people for establishing the same.  for first celebrations invited Sri N. T. Rama Rao,  This association was established with the intension to bring together all telugu people land to be in touch with telugu culture especially for our grand children to understand the importance of our heritage and culture.  Every year they come to Andhra Pradesh to keep in touch with their relatives and friends and arrange get-to gather.

He is successful doctor also helped life partner to take up house surgeon.  They proved themselves as reputed doctors in England, which is proud factor for Indians as well as Telugu people in England.
